Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the homeroom teacher and oversee students’ academic, social, emotional, and overall well-being.
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons in English, Mathematics, and Science (EMS) for Lower Primary students.
• Develop students’ foundational literacy, numeracy, scientific thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, and classroom materials aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment that promotes discipline, responsibility, respect, and active participation.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing appropriate support and intervention where necessary.
• Incorporate engaging teaching approaches such as storytelling, games, manipulatives, experiments, visual aids, and hands-on activities.
• Maintain effective classroom routines and ensure students follow school rules and expectations.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress, development, and classroom activities.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, reporting sessions, and other school activities.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood, or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Diploma in Education, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Lower Primary students (Grade 1–2 or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of English, Mathematics, and basic Science concepts.
• Ability to effectively teach multiple subjects.
