Horseback Trail Guide

We are seeking a Horseback Trail Guide to join our team. As a Horseback Trail Guide, you will be responsible for leading guided horseback rides through scenic trails and providing an enjoyable and educational experience for our guests. Responsibilities:

• Lead guided horseback rides through designated trails

• Ensure the safety of guests during trail rides

• Provide basic instruction on horseback riding techniques for beginners

• Educate guests about local wildlife, flora, and fauna during the trail ride

• Communicate effectively with guests, answering questions and providing information

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times

• Assist with the care and grooming of horses before and after rides

• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Horseback Trail Guide or similar role preferred

• Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests

• Strong time management skills to ensure timely departures and arrivals

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to accommodate diverse guests

• Leadership skills to guide and manage groups of riders effectively

• Public speaking skills to engage and educate guests during trail rides

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Must be physically fit and able to handle horses confidently

• High school diploma or equivalent
