Horticulture Leading Hand

Duties included

• Lead small teams in orchard tasks such as pruning and thinning, maintenance of the farm and building structure
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor work progress
• Assist the Orchard manager in planning orchard work activities
• Train new workers on orchard procedures
• Ensure work is completed to quality standards
• Report issues to the Orchard Manager or Director
• Assist with harvest coordination and bin placement, team allocation, contractors supervision
• Monitoring the productivity and performance of the orchard staff
• Support health and safety compliance

Requirements- Qualification in Level 4 or 2 years of relevant experience in horticulture
