Merit Hospice is a locally owned and operated company looking to add to our team! Must be able to provide proof of auto insurance and have reliable transportation. Work Location: On the road

Required to start at 6 am.

Area Needed: Plano

PRN positions are available !

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to hospice patients
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of patient care activities

Skills:

• Experience in hospice care or a related healthcare setting is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (e.g., Kinnser)
• Understanding of senior care principles and practices
• Proficiency in assisting patients with activities of daily living
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use
