Generation Healthcare is a family-owned hospice agency in Westerville, Ohio. Our founder, a former nursing home administrator, started Generation Hospice in 2008 and Generation Home Health in 2013 with one standard: care good enough for her own family, extended to every family in our community. Every new team member completes structured onboarding and supervised field training with an experienced preceptor before taking an independent caseload.

THE ROLE

Plan, provide, and coordinate comfort-focused nursing care for patients and families at the end of life. You will manage pain and symptoms, lead care with our interdisciplinary team, and guide families with compassion.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Complete hospice admissions, comprehensive assessments, and HOPE assessments
• Manage pain and symptoms and teach families comfort measures
• Participate in IDG meetings and update plans of care
• Supervise hospice aides and LPNs
• Attend patients at the time of death and support families

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Current, unrestricted Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification; CHPN preferred
• At least one year of RN experience; hospice, palliative, or home health experience preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and comfort using a tablet for documentation and EVV
• Ability to pass an Ohio BCI background check (and FBI check where required), exclusion screening, and TB screening

WHAT WE OFFER

• Full-Time Hourly: $35-$45 per hour, monthly ICHRA reimbursement toward the health plan of your choice after 90 days, paid time off that accrues from your first day, and 401(k) eligibility after one year
• Per-Visit: $130 admission · $55 routine visit · $70 recertification visit · $100 death visit · $45 per hour continuous home care, plus $30 per hour for in-office training and meetings, with flexible scheduling
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile, a monthly cell phone stipend, and on-call pay of $35 per weekday and $50 per weekend day when applicable
