Job Description

Vance Jackson Hospital, LLC is seeking an experienced Hospital Operations Manager to oversee daily non-clinical hospital operations, Patient Access Services, facility functions, and operational compliance. The Facility Administrator will help ensure efficient patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, facility maintenance, and an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access Services operations.
• Manage patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.
• Monitor registration accuracy, wait times, and point-of-service collections.
• Lead, manage, and develop Patient Access team members.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of non-clinical staff.
• Maintain provider credentialing and required documentation.
• Coordinate facility maintenance with vendors and service providers.
• Manage vendor and contractor files.
• Oversee hospital inventory and facility materials.
• Support safety, environmental, and regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate invoices, payments, and bank deposits.
• Collaborate with clinical, billing, coding, and compliance teams.
• Support hospital opening activities and operational projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure company policies are followed.
• Represent the hospital at community and marketing events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of patient access, revenue cycle, healthcare management, or healthcare operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorization, and patient billing.
• Proven leadership and team-management experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong fiscal-management and business-operations abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Workday experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, potentially up to 8 hours.
• Frequent bending and twisting may be required.
• Position may involve exposure to chemical irritants and body fluids/infectious diseases.
