Hospital Receptionist – Job Description

Position: Hospital Receptionist
Location: [Delhi / Gurugram]
Experience: 1–3 years preferred
Salary: As per experience and interview

Job Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist patients and visitors at the reception.
• Handle patient registration, appointments, and enquiries.
• Manage incoming calls and direct them to the concerned department.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.
• Maintain patient records and reception-related documents.
• Guide patients regarding departments, consultations, and hospital procedures.
• Manage appointment schedules and follow-ups.
• Handle basic billing/payment-related coordination when required.
• Ensure smooth and professional front-desk operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous service.

Required Skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office/ hospital software).
• Pleasant personality and professional approach.
• Good Hindi and English communication.
• Ability to handle patients and visitors calmly and professionally.
• Prior hospital/clinic reception experience will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
