Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Host 21+ to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure seamless front-of-house operations. As the first point of contact, you will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a memorable visit, encouraging repeat patronage and fostering guest satisfaction. This role is vital in maintaining efficient restaurant flow while providing exceptional guest services in a lively environment.

Duties

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests efficiently
• Coordinate with the service team to assign tables and monitor wait times
• Answer phone inquiries with clear, courteous communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Maintain organized seating charts and manage table turnover to maximize seating capacity
• Assist guests with special requests or concerns, ensuring their needs are met promptly
• Support food safety standards by adhering to sanitation and cleanliness protocols at the host stand

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational skills
• Basic math skills for managing reservations and seating calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards is preferred
• Experience in food service or restaurant operations is advantageous but not required

Pay: $17.13 - $30.56 per hour
