Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring efficient seating arrangements and smooth flow of service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables promptly after guests leave
• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables, delivering food and beverages as needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries politely via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Support food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation procedures during table clearing and setup
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such to process orders or assist with billing when necessary

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest relations and customer service
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, bills, and POS transactions accurately
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the dining area, and lift moderate loads when needed
• Knowledge of food safety practices and adherence to health standards in food service environments

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
