About the Role: The Host / Hostess is the first and last impression for our guests. You'll greet visitors, manage seating and reservations, and keep the flow of the dining room smooth and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and seat guests and manage the waitlist
- Take and organize reservations and maintain the seating chart
- Balance seating across server sections for even service
- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries
- Communicate wait times and coordinate with servers
- Keep the entrance and host area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Stays composed during busy, high-volume periods
- Prior host or customer-service experience a plus
- Able to stand for long periods
- Reliable with flexible availability
