Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant
• Manage restaurant reservations using our reservation management system OpenTable
• Organize and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Support the FOH staff in general from the host position

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions confidently
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as OpenTable and SpotOn POS is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently
• Effective communication skills for engaging with guests, team members, and phone inquiries
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, wait times, and table counts accurately
• Knowledge of hospitality principles, guest relations, and food safety standards is a plus

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
