As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout the dining area. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their dining experience
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate guest seating efficiently to minimize wait times and optimize table turnover
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
• Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations while managing guest interactions

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Strong background in food service or hospitality environments demonstrating excellent guest relations skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Proven ability to handle phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating good phone etiquette
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements
• Basic math skills for handling tables, bills, and reservation counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus
