We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth guest flow. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests efficiently
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, providing accurate wait times and reservation details
• Maintain organized waitlists and monitor table status using restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Assist guests with seating, answer questions about menu items or restaurant policies, and address special requests
• Uphold food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of guest areas
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions confidently
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing procedures
• Experience in food service or hospitality roles that emphasize guest relations and organizational skills
