Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and ensure smooth seating and waitlist management. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, fostering a lively and inviting atmosphere that keeps guests excited to return.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel valued and comfortable from arrival.
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate seating arrangements.
• Maintain an organized waitlist, providing timely updates to guests about their wait times.
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless seating flow and optimal guest experience.
• Answer guest inquiries politely, providing information about menu items or restaurant policies as needed.
• Uphold sanitation procedures by keeping the host station clean and organized at all times.
• Support food safety management by adhering to health guidelines and assisting in maintaining a hygienic environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or hospitality environments; restaurant experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety standards to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems for managing reservations and guest check-ins efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest interactions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive demeanor under pressure.
• Basic understanding of food safety management practices to support overall restaurant health standards.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
