Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude and provide a positive first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services environments is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Demonstrated hospitality skills, including serving, guest engagement, and conflict resolution
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and seating logistics
• Weekend availability preferred
