Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. You will play a crucial role in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Pay starts at $10 an hour plus tips.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
• Take reservations and maintain an organized reservation system.
• Assist guests with inquiries about menu items and restaurant services.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station.
• Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and guest information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Toast POS, is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• FLEXIBILITY TO WORK LUNCH HOURS AS WELL AS EVENINGS INCLUDING WEEKENDS.
