Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest service skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Communicate wait times to guests and assist them in understanding the dining options available.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assist with phone etiquette by taking reservations and answering calls in a professional manner.
• Support guest relations by providing information about menu items, specials, and events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to enhance guest interactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others create memorable experiences.
