We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth operations. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and organizational abilities will help foster a warm atmosphere that keeps guests excited to return. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest relations and ensuring a positive first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests efficiently using restaurant table management software such as Opentable and Resy
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and reduce wait times while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, or general inquiries using proper phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate effectively with guests regarding their status or estimated wait times
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness of host station and adhering to hygiene protocols
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless guest flow and timely seating

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred, with strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational skills
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists and processing reservations accurately
• Experience with reservation systems
• Professional phone etiquette and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests over the phone or in person
• Previous food service or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; a passion for guest relations is essential
