Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host / server assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Provide information about the menu and specials to guests, enhancing their dining experience.
• Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness in the host area and ensure menus are updated and presentable.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant.
• Assist bussing tables and running food

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Experience in guest services within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a friendly team atmosphere.
