Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment during our lunch hour. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional guest services and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu offerings.
• Assist guests with their inquiries and provide information about the restaurant’s services and specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information accurately.
• Handle phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries or taking reservations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food service operations is a plus.
• A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
