Host

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest flow will be essential in maintaining our high standards of customer service.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
• Communicate wait times clearly and manage guest expectations.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of the dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness in the host/host area and assist with general restaurant upkeep.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good phone etiquette for managing reservations and inquiries.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed.
• Experience in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous.

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
