Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences in a relaxed fine-dining atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process while maintaining a positive atmosphere in the restaurant. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to operate Resy, our house reservation system.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while minimizing wait times. Update the reservation system as needed.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of any specials or promotions.
• Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while taking reservations or providing information.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless online order delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Utilize Toast POS systems to input carryout orders and accept payment when appropriate.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving techniques and hospitality standards.
• Experience with POS and Reservation systems (Toast and Resy) is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
