• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and a positive attitude as they arrive.
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to organize seating and waitlists.
• Escort guests to their tables promptly, ensuring comfort and satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and reservation options.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with courtesy and effective communication skills.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and waiting area.
• Support guest relations by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
• Uphold restaurant policies and safety standards while delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in restaurant operations or hotel guest services is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are necessary for success in this role.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving protocols and guest services, is beneficial.
