Bohemian Cafe is looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Nighttime Host to join our team. The host is the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive
• Manage the restaurant's seating and waitlist efficiently
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions about the restaurant
• Manage reservations and communicate wait times accurately
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Monitor the dining room and communicate with servers and management regarding table availability
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand
• Assist with keeping the entrance and front-of-house areas clean and presentable
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each guest's visit
• Work closely with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed

• Friendly, outgoing personality and excellent customer-service skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Previous restaurant or hostess experience is preferred but not required

We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in creating a great experience for every guest. A successful hostess should be attentive, welcoming, and able to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
