As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a positive and memorable experience by providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating operations. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and presentable
• Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest service delivery
• Assist in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, turning any issues into positive resolutions
• Support the overall hospitality environment by demonstrating excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in hospitality, hotel guest services, or serving roles is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest seating procedures
