Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating and flow within the restaurant or hospitality environment. Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a warm, genuine smile and positive attitude
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies
• Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all guest areas are welcoming and presentable
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and guest needs
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience

Skills

• Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest relations, serving, and hotel experience is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional phone etiquette and guest interaction skills necessary for positive guest relations
