As a Host, you’ll coordinate reservations, manage guest flow, and ensure every visitor feels valued and cared for throughout their time with us. Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and maintain positive phone etiquette to assist with reservations and inquiries
• Manage reservation systems using POS platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to organize seating arrangements efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings
• Monitor guest flow, manage waitlists, and communicate wait times clearly to ensure smooth seating transitions
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or in a similar host/hostess role within food service or restaurant settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservation management
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or food service environments is highly desirable
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of guest services principles and restaurant operations to enhance guest experiences
