We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout the dining experience. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and organizational abilities will help foster a warm atmosphere that keeps guests excited to return. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest relations and ensuring they feel valued from the start
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and clear communication skills
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, wait times, and guest preferences using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to cleanliness and sanitation protocols in all guest-facing areas
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback to enhance overall customer experience

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Strong background in food service or hospitality environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and billing procedures
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions with guests and team members
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff
