Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently.
• Maintain an organized reservation system and communicate wait times effectively.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Assist in managing the flow of guests in the dining area to optimize seating capacity.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and guest management.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host/host area.

Qualifications

• Previous Host/Host experience preferred, with a strong background in food service or restaurant environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior hotel experience or guest services background is advantageous but not required.
• A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
