Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure smooth restaurant operations. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations using table management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest flow
• Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, handle reservation inquiries, and confirm bookings
• Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all areas are welcoming and well-stocked
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to relay guest needs and seating updates
• Assist with guest services by addressing questions, providing menus, and supporting special requests as needed
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene protocols during guest interactions
• Utilize POS systems for reservation tracking and guest management to ensure accuracy
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and walk-in guests seamlessly

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a busy restaurant environment is preferred
• Food service experience that includes customer interaction and guest relations is highly desirable
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear phone communication and etiquette
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions
• Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or equivalent technology used in hospitality settings
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
