Job Summary
Not hiring seasonal staff. Full & Part Time positions available. Weekday availability required for consideration. We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, fielding a high volume of take out and delivery orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly first impression.
• Manage the seating chart and reservations to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering guest questions effectively.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous Host/Host or food service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast) is a plus; experience with reservation platforms such as Tock, Resy, or Open Table is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior restaurant or hotel experience is beneficial but not required.
• Positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn new skills in the hospitality industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
