Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, communicating wait times to guests accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the host stand and dining space.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, including reservations and general information about the restaurant.
• Assist in managing guest relations, addressing any concerns or feedback with a positive attitude.

Skills

• Background in food service or hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of serving etiquette and hospitality best practices is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
