Position Summary:
A restaurant hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests. They manage reservations, greet and seat customers, and help keep the front-of-house running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive
- Manage reservations and waitlists
- Seat guests promptly and fairly
- Answer phone calls and respond to basic inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and management about table availability
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
- Assist with guest flow during busy periods
- Thank guests as they leave
- There may be other duties assigned as well.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
