About the Role
As a Host, you are the first and last impression of every meal. You'll recognize returning guests, anticipate needs before they are voiced, and orchestrate the flow of the dining room so service feels effortless. This role suits someone who takes pride in details and wants to grow within luxury hospitality.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every guest warmly and by name whenever possible, and escort them to their table
• Manage reservations, the waitlist, and table assignments in OpenTable, balancing guest preferences with the flow of the dining room
• Review hotel guest notes and dining requests so that preferences, celebrations, and dietary needs reach the service team before guests arrive
• Answer calls with polish and knowledge, sharing information on menus, hours, dress code, and resort experiences
• Coordinate seating for large parties, private dining, and special events with managers and the kitchen
• Communicate pacing and seating updates to servers and the kitchen throughout service
• Resolve guest requests and concerns gracefully, escalating to a manager when appropriate
• Keep the host stand, entry, and front-of-house areas immaculate
• Uphold Forbes Five-Star service standards in every interaction

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of host or restaurant experience in fine dining, a luxury hotel, or upscale hospitality (preferred)
• Experience with OpenTable, Oracle Simphony, or a similar reservation and POS system (a plus)
• Poised, articulate communication in person, by phone, and in writing
• A natural instinct for reading guests and anticipating their needs
• Composure and warmth during busy services and last-minute changes
• A collaborative approach and genuine care for your teammates
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the property
