Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene protocols
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient table turnover

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred
• Strong communication skills, including clear phone communication and guest relations
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlists, and seating calculations
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with positive attitude and professionalism
