Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service, contributing to our restaurant's reputation for outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Utilize POS systems for order processing when necessary.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations, ensuring all guests feel valued and appreciated.

Experience

• Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Background in food service or customer service is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving and guest services.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
