As a Host, you will be the face of our establishment, welcoming guests with a warm smile and ensuring they have an unforgettable dining experience from the moment they arrive. Your role is pivotal in creating a positive atmosphere, managing reservations, and coordinating the flow of guests to optimize service efficiency. What you’ll do

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests with efficiency and grace.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and poise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area.
• Utilize restaurant systems, including Toast and Resy, for managing guest information.
• Assist in coordinating special events or large parties to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance guest relations.

Basic qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a similar role within the food service industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Toast POS, Resy or OpenTable is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
• Experience in serving or guest services enhances your candidacy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
