Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists with efficiency and professionalism
• Handle restaurant reservation management using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations
• Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area
• Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, and resolving concerns promptly

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately
• Organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role

Pay: $23.17 - $27.91 per hour
