We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management when necessary.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in hotel guest services or serving can enhance your candidacy.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
