Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations using table management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest experience
• Answer phone inquiries with clear, courteous communication, handling reservation requests and guest questions
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times accurately to guests
• Assist with guest inquiries about menu items or restaurant policies in a polite and helpful manner
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of reservation materials

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally
• Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
• Organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and table counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to hospitality settings
• Ability to remain energetic, positive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Hospitality experience that demonstrates a passion for guest satisfaction

Pay: $24.71 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
