Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will ensure every guest feels valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Duties

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness, making them feel at home
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to ensure a professional appearance
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest seating and special requests
• Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details
• Assist guests with seating, answer questions about the menu or restaurant policies, and address any concerns courteously
• Support guest relations by ensuring a smooth flow of service and fostering a positive atmosphere throughout the restaurant

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality, guest services, serving, or hotel environments is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of food service operations and guest relations practices is desirable
