Full-Time Host – Washington, DC

We’re hiring a full-time Host in Washington, DC to be one of the first points of contact for guests. You’ll help set the tone from the moment people arrive, keep things moving smoothly, and work closely with the wider team throughout the day.

It’s a role with plenty of interaction and variety, so it’s well suited to someone who enjoys meeting new people, can think on their feet, and knows how to stay friendly and organized when things get busy.

A Typical Shift

• Welcome customers and guests as they arrive
• Greet people in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage the flow of guests and help coordinate seating
• Answer basic questions and provide information
• Communicate with team members throughout the shift
• Keep the front area clean, organized, and presentable
• Help manage reservations, bookings, or guest requests
• Support the wider team during busy periods

Who We’re Looking For

Experience is useful, but it isn’t everything. We’re looking for someone friendly, dependable, and comfortable dealing with different people throughout the day.

• Good organization and attention to detail
• Able to stay calm when things get busy
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Previous hospitality, retail, customer service, or hosting experience is a plus
