As a Host, you will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Duties

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service with excellent phone etiquette
• Manage restaurant reservations using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer incoming calls promptly, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle waitlist management effectively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers regarding guest needs and seating times
• Assist in guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant setting preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlists, and table counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently
• Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette at all times
