Coucou West Hollywood | $25/hour

Coucou is a modern French neighborhood bistro with locations in Venice, West Hollywood, and Manhattan Beach. We're looking for a warm, organized, and hospitality-driven Host to join our West Hollywood team.

As the first point of contact for our guests, our Hosts play an important role in setting the tone for the Coucou experience. We're a small, fast-paced restaurant with a team-first approach, so this position also involves supporting service through food running, expediting, bussing, and resetting tables as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests and manage the arrival and seating experience.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and table flow using Resy.
• Coordinate with servers and management to maintain smooth service pacing.
• Answer guest questions and assist with reservation inquiries.
• Help run food, expedite orders, bus and reset tables during service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and dining room.
• Anticipate guest needs and communicate effectively with the team.
• Jump in wherever needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience required.
• Resy experience required.
• Warm, polished, friendly, and genuinely hospitality-minded.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a small team.
• Willingness to support all aspects of Front of House service.
• Evening and weekend availability required.

Compensation & Schedule:

• $25/hour following successful completion of training.
• Two-week paid training period at $20.25/hour.
• No-tipping establishment with a consistent hourly wage model.
• Part-time, including evenings and weekends.
