Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth flow of service in a lively, customer-focused environment. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, making guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, practicing proper phone etiquette and communication skills
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with guest services by addressing inquiries, special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
• Support food safety standards by adhering to proper procedures during guest interactions and table management

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously
• Experience with restaurant table management systems and POS systems is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions
• Previous hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for serving others is essential

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
