Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
• Take reservations and manage the waitlist
• Manage the flow of guests to ensure efficient seating and service
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus
• Strong guest service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Knowledge of food service procedures and basic menu items
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
