Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to create a positive first impression for our guests and ensure smooth seating and reservation management. As a vital part of our team, you will coordinate guest arrivals, manage reservations using restaurant table management systems, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help foster a lively, hospitable atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations efficiently using restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer phone calls promptly with professional phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow
• Uphold food safety standards by managing guest flow responsibly and maintaining cleanliness in the host station
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing guest questions or concerns courteously and professionally

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette
• Basic math skills for managing reservations and waitlists accurately
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience in food service or hospitality industry is advantageous but not required
