Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
• Answer phone calls and take reservations
• Manage waitlist during peak hours
• Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
• Monitor dining room for cleanliness and organization
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests

Requirements

-Must work weekends

• Previous experience in guest relations or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices; one year as host/hostess preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or equivalent experience
