Overview

Join our team as a Host and become the welcoming face of our restaurant! In this energetic role, you will create first impressions for every guest by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of seating and taking of carryout orders. This position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and can graduate to a serving position. Both day and evening hours are available. Must be willing to work a minimum of 2 Saturday's per month. We are open Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette to answer guest questions and take carryout orders
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Maintain food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health guidelines in the host station

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting helpful, with strong guest service skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette
• Strong organizational skills to manage waitlists, and guest flow effectively
• Experience in food service or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of restaurant operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
• Knowledge of food safety practices and adherence to health regulations

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
