We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Duties

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring they feel valued from the start
• Manage restaurant reservation systems, including booking, modifying, and confirming reservations using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while accommodating special requests and guest preferences
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general restaurant details with proper phone etiquette
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for service
• Assist with guest services by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, fostering positive guest relations
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards in the host area and during guest interactions

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently
• Basic math skills for processing reservations, managing waitlists, and handling POS transactions when necessary
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe dining environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences
